FX 35 Welcome lights

Purchased a 2011 FX35 in December. Last night we noticed the puddle lights and the map lights were on. Turned them off twice by just hitting the lock button. The car was already locked. About an hour later my daughter came home and said your lights are on. Went out and played around with some buttons. Lights were off....checked before going to bed about 30 minutes later and they were still off. 230am a knock at the door from the police that my lights were on. They have been on all day. The welcome lights are not even activated. I figured let's activate them to see if that fixes the issue...again they come on after 20 or so minutes. Ideas?
