Many Pictures... My First Scale Model... Please comment!!!
This is my first model ever built...
![]() ![]() -------- TAMIYA 24228 - Ferrari 360 Modena - Metal Plated Body TAMIYA 89600 - Nissan Fairlady Z / 350Z - Satin Finish I have spent BIG dollars just on paint, mostly Tamiya Acrylic and Enamel...... Both kit is not polished afterward since I don't want bright gloss that make it look like a toy car.... Ferrari is not painted because it is a metal plated body... From start to finish on this kit, it takes me 14 hours on one overnight... Nissan is primered and painted with Tamiya TS-30 Silver Leaf spray can... At first, I chose to leave it unpainted since this is a satin finish but I found a paint chip over the body... it is now painted but not perfect like out of the box... 16 hours approximately... Any comment?! Good or bad?! Close to realistic?! How can I improve?? |

re: rockabilly -- those are really my first one... I have read these forum for days and research before I get into the kit...
re: Y the alphabet mem -- 360 was first, 350Z two days later... Actually Tamiya Nissan 300ZX is the very first, but I broke those wheels, then I began 360 Modena the next day VERY carefully... |
