Question what should i do????

i am loking to buy a 88-91 civic hatch, my friend has found one for sale it is a man trying to sell his wifes old civic hatch i think a 90. anyway the thing is the only problem is that she had wrecked it a damaged the front light and slightly bent the hood, but after she wrecked it she had bought another car and left it alone, now they are trying to get rid of it for the small price of 150. the only thing is that they said they cant start it. i am not shure if that ios from leaving it sit for so long or what. my friend has told me that the engine or radiator has not been damaged from the wreck it was only a slight fender bender. What should i do , what to check or fix to get it running to get it home, i dont want to have to tow it, should i buy it, if i get it i will swap a b16 into it after a few months but i still need to rely on the stock engine for a while. HELP ME, please.
All help appreciated.
Please answer soon
Thank you

well it is cheap anyway, so worse comes to worse u can part it out, but i would just try to get it to run before u buy it, if ur m8 says the rad isnt damaged then it couldnt have been that hard a hit, it seems ok, just try to get it running before u buy it IMO

cheerz

Fender benders can "look" not so bad on the outside, but I'd get a body shop to test it for any frame damage... especially if the hood is bent (since I don't have a picture I can't tell for sure how it's bent).

As far as getting it running... should be relatively easy, because it is probably from sitting for a while... then again, you could have that checked out too.

Either way... $150 is a steal! you could strip the interior and sell it all on ebay for at least $1,000 and whatever else people may need... or use the car for spare parts.... either way, you can't really lose.

Hell, where's it at? I'll come buy it!

Grab it man! Pop a little more dough into it for a new engine and tranny and you got yourself a like-new car for under 2500 bux!
