Rear windows won't roll down in my 2012 Civic

A few months ago I noticed that my rear windows won't roll down even though my front windows do. I have a 2012 Honda Civic LX which obviously has four doors. I would take it to a mechanic, but I don't want to waste money on something that could be potentially an easy fix. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried both the driver's switch and the one on the door. Just wondering if it's a switch problem. Another thing to try is push down lightly on the window as you push the switch to see if it's slightly bound.

Yes I tried the switch on both the driver side door and the switch on both doors on the back, neither on works. I'll try your suggestion to see if it works.

It may not be a coincidence that both back windows don't work- sounds a lot like child protection window lockout switch is engaged-- read up in your owner's manual- see if there is a switch that controls this for you- most are on the master driver's switch panel- along with the door lock-out switch for the rear door child protection.

My 2013 has an LED that lights when windows are inhibited.... yours is likely the same.

Do you own a DMM, or 12V test light ??

No, I don't have that LED light that tells me when the windows are inhibited, but thanks for the suggestion. .

@brcidd: I'll definitely read up on the user manual. I just find it odd that both back windows aren't going down. Especially when the driver side window and the front passenger window are working just fine.
