Daily Driving a '65 or '66 TBird

Hi guys, I'm new to the forums and new to the classic car world in general. I have always loved the 64-66 generation Thunderbirds and am finally to the point in my life where I can purchase one. The one I am looking at has undergone a restoration, however, I am waiting to hear back from the dealer to see how extensive it was. What I want to ask is, how good are these cars as far as daily drivers go? What can I expect from it and should I even be considering it? Hopefully as I get more information on the resto I can give you more info on the car itself. Thanks for any and all information!

My cousin loved that series, I didn't care for it. I know a guy north of Indy that is ready to sell his. Very fine shape, drives it all the time except winter of course. Like any of these cars, you have to have a real expert look it over. Some people will bondo it inside and out making you think they replaced a bunch of metal and all you have is cardboard covered in hardened plastic goo. The exhaust can have a roar, but the engine and trans better be quiet with no ticking, clicking or clanking.
