2008 Silverado accessory power outlet fuse

One of the power outlets quit working on my '08 crew cab LT and I've been flipping through my Chilton manual for about an hour now trying to find the circuit that powers it.I've yet to find the bad fuse or the circuit so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. The 2 outlets are under the radio and the one that doesn't work is the one closest to the driver, the other one towards the passenger side works so they're obviously split circuits,or could there be another issue?

Check fuse 53 under the hood fuse block. Looks like they run off different fuses.

That's the one.I found it about 20 minutes after I posted the thread. One outlet is powered from the underhood fuse panel and the other from the interior one.

Owner's manual if you don't have one.

Just because it doesn't work, doesn't mean it's a blown fuse- there may be an open -in either hot or ground side as well.....

Granted- 80% of the time it is a blown fuse- but if they are all good- time to start probing with your DVM....

Thanks for the link.I actually have the owners manual but couldn't remember where I put it so I could look up the fuse charts.

Testing the wiring was my next course of action if the fuse had been good but it was blown so that was my particular problem.
