Exclamation 05 RSX factory alarm

Im having an issue with my factory alarm not going off when i mess with the car. I can hear the car lock itself the red light comes on the horn goes off when i lock it and everything but it just wont ring when its messed woth. Is there somewhere in the car that i can afjust the sensitivity?

It's likely a passive alarm so it doesn't have a sensitivity setting. Just messing with it wont set it off. If you want to test it roll the window down before you get out of the car. Shut the door and lock it like normal. Now reach inside and unlock the door with your hand and open the door. The alarm should go off.

Sounds good I’m going to try that. It started raining out here so I’ll have rob do it whenever it stops but thanks I appreciate it. Do you know when the mechanism isn’t located though?
