Question Rim Repair

Has anyone had their rims repaired?? I am thinking about getting 2 of my wheels repaired because they are pretty dinged up. I would just buy 2 new ones, but of course they are out of business now and no one makes the model. I found a place in michigan and they said they guarantee they can repair any wheel for 100 bucks a wheel. Just seeing if anyone has had this done and if it was worth it. Im more worried about the shipping price then the 100 per wheel...any advice??

As long as it's as the wheels are not bent or cracked, $100 to re-finish sounds like a reasonable price.

Although we are not affiliate any of the below companies, they've been suggested as good sources by our customers:

Wheel coll. center 800.292.7467 7286 penn dr. Bath, Pa 18014
or 600 Shoemaker ave. Suite 4 Columbus Oh 43201 800.826.5795
Ye Olde Wheel shop 800.526.8260 6363 Washington Elkridge, Md 21227
The Wheel Shoppe 810.756.7256 18011 14 Mile rd. Fraser, Mi 48026

May not be worth doing then. Usually it costs as much or more to properly repair a bent rim then to replace. Obviously you can't replace . . . I recommend calling the place in Fraser, MI and see what they have to say.

Unfortunately, we've never carried their wheels so we can't get them . . . you mentioned that they are out of business . . . I'm sure you've already check this but they seem to have an active website under icwracing.
