2012 Jeep Liberty

I looked at a 2012 Jeep Liberty 2wd today. I took it to a local garage for an inspection. A heater blend door was making a lot of noise. He agreed to have his man install a new motor.
During a computer scan of the BCM it showed both back brake lights didn't work. The center light worked properly. He called back and said his man installed two new bulbs and they now work. I think I can take a 10mm 1/4 drive socket and ratchet and look at bulb for a new wire attached. My scanner will scan the bcm and I can look for codes.
Do you think just two new bulbs will fix this problem?

Re: 2012 Jeep Liberty

Two new bulbs fixed the problem. The original code was high resistance in the brake light circuit not anti lock or BCM. After deleting the codes they didn't return. The blend door operator was installed. So I purchased the vehicle.
