Porsche 3.2 engine
Hi all,
For a commision build, I was asked to build a air-cooled engine in 1/24. The man did not have a specific engine in mind, so eventually we agreed on using the 3.2 engine from one of the Fujimi Enthusiast models, in this case the '85 Targa. ![]() A quick shot of the basic Fujimi parts for this engine. ![]() All hose clamps and other fastners were removed and redone using BMF. ![]() Final pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ...and after a small wash of the fan. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() List of paints (main colors) and modifications: - Alclad Magnesium - Alclad Stainless Steel - Alclad Chrome - ModelAir guards red - Revell black (flat and semi-gloss) - all clamps and binders replaced with BMF - ignition wiring added - Injectors and main fuelline added - lift-hook added - drive belt replaced I hope you all like the result as much as I do. Re: Porsche 3.2 engine
Nice work! I like how you've displayed it, hanging from the stand.

Re: Porsche 3.2 engine
Looks good. The factory exhaust, cat, etc. on these is really more of a grey\tan color rather than silver however:
