Red Brake Light on, Horrible Dinging while Driving
The red Brake light will come on and there is the horrible dinging. The sound is enough to make someone go mad. The ABS light is on all the time as well as the Trac Off light. Is there a way to make the dinging go away. I took it to Midas and they said it has a power to ground short from the abs Module. Any help would be appreciated.

On mine the only dinging warning is for the seat belt not fasten. You have some separate issues with brake warning, abs and trac. Did midas give you the code numbers pulled? If not, you can stop at most auto parts stores and pull the codes. Get the numbers not just what they tell you and post back.

We cannot help you without some specific info, as mentioned you need abs codes, parts stores normally do not read anything but pcm codes.
