Hose Connection Help

Hi
I have a problem, there is a 1/2" black rubber hose about 3' long with a plastic connector, it came off from under the engine compartment. One end or the hose is connected to the front section the 4 wheel drive. I can't figure out where the other end with the plastic tip connects to. It looks like it might be a vacuum hose that plugs in some where.
Could someone please help me out.
2001 jeep wrangler 6 cyl. auto trans.
