2000 Grand Am Bad Oxygen Sensors

I have a 2000 Grand Am & my car keeps stalling out. It will drive for a little & then stall, if you wait 5-10 minutes it will turn on & run again following the same pattern. I took it to a car shop & my cylinder one was misfiring & oxygen sensors were bad. I had the coil pack replaced thinking maybe that was the issue but the car continued to stall. Could bad oxygen sensors (both were coming up) make my car stall out?
In the past I had a 2004 Chevy Impala & the oxygen sensors were bad in it as well & every once in a while the car would stall out leaving you to sit for a few minutes then it would cut back on. I thought maybe this could be the issue as both cars are doing the same.
Thank you.
