check engine light on

I have a 2004 Pontiac vibe that has the check engine light on and it has a PO 456 code in it. It said Evaporative Emission system leak Detection(very small leak). I have change the gas cap and light is still on. Can anyone tell me what else could be the problem with this car. Thanks
