ECT Sensor Broke Off

Tried to simply change out the ECT sensor on my son's 2011 Malibu (4 cyl). In the process, the brass gave out and now the sensor casing is still in the side of the motor. This thing is NOT easily accessible and I'm at a loss.

Any creative ideas for removing it so I can install the new one? Purely a shade tree mechanic here, so go easy!

EZ out. It shouldn't be that tight and the EZ out should be able to take it out.

Re: ECT Sensor Broke Off

Well, ended up having to take it to my local mechanic. Took him over an hour to get it out, but it's replaced and running fine again.
