Adjusting Valves (take 2)

Since my other thread was destroyed and out of 4 pages there was only one reply that had anything to do with the thread I have decided to start a new one.

On the intake side there are bars(no idea..could be rockers) that are right over top of the valves..on the exhaust side its easy to get to but how do you get to the intake side with the feeler gauge?

I just set the valves on a DOHC ZC the other day. the valvetrain looks identical to that of a B18A/B, so if you have any 3 of these engines its the same. You'll either have to get a special feeler gauge from honda, or take your old one and cut it in half so its half the width. then it shold slide right in.

On SOHC engines, its very easy. you shouldn't have any problems at all.

there should some side of the valve where you can get the feeler guag into, thats the point, you shouldnt have to remove anything to make the adjustment.

Its a stock Si engine...the first time a tried I couldnt get to them but I'm going to try again soon. The knocking is annoying the shit out of me. Does the piston have be at top dead center or do you just watch the lobe on the camshaft for the lowest point?
