Ferrari California open top
Hi
This is the Revell Ferrari California. The kit is ok, although some fitment issues especially with the bonnet. I added the Hobby design photoetch kit which is really nice and this improved the overall outcome. The bodyshell was painted with Alclad primer and Zero Base and pre thinned clear coat. The rest of the paints were Vallejo and Tamiya with a bit of Humbrol enamel in certain places. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I hope you enjoy and thanks for looking. Kind regards Philip |

Re: Ferrari California open top
Nice work! The finish looks awesome. Eventually I'll finish the three I've had under construction for years.
Did you choose not to paint the window trim and little triangles at the base of the windshield? I ask because you chose to leave part of the license plate surround body color, so I thought this was intentional. |
