injector cleaner

has anyone here used injector cleaner did it do its job or is it just a gimmic like the rest of the tune up in a bottel products?

YES I USED SOME OF THAT NYONS (NOT SURE OF THE EXACT SPELLING) INJECTOR CLEANER BECAUSE ON IDLE THE CAR USED TO SPIT AND FART AND THE RPM WOULD GO UP AND DOWN.

AFTER USING IT THE CAR IDLES ALOT BETTER AND RUNS A BIT CLEANER.

IF U WANT IT DONE PROPERLY TAKE OUT THE INJECTOR RAIL AND HAVE THEM CHEMICALLY CLEANED!!

is it hard to get the injector rail off the motor

if u know what u r doing its easy, but it costs bout $40 to clean each injector 2!

Toyota sell a top quality injector cleaner. We use it in both our BMW workshops and the Techs love it. Failing that,,, denjam69 is right,,,,off with the rail and injectors. Also get someone to check your fuel pump, its strainer and regulator output. Don't forget the fuel filter buddy.

well i went to a fuel injection shop today $30 each to clean but he could not flotest them for me so should i just keep looking for someone that can test them or just get them cleaned
