1st 1/4 mile with [email protected]

The right side is me, the left side is my friend with an 89 CRX Si with a DOHC ZC swap.

[email protected]

this is on a 100% untuned engine, havent even set the timing with a light, slammed with horrible camber, 40psi in tires, and 90 degree heat. I think that with a little tuning, and a better launch, i can be in the 14s easily.

You should be able to get into the 14s because i have a friend that has a 91 civic si hatchback and he swapped the same kind of motor in his but his civic is gutted. He has nitrous in it but when he runs all motor he can run a 14.48 at 102 mph.

I just ran the 1/8 mile. my B18A1 beat my z6 1/8 mile time by a 1/10 of a second, but like i said, the 1/4 time was run with it being like 90 degrees outside after driving almost 80 miles to get to the track. the z6 time was ran after the car had cooled for a while, plus it was about 20 degrees cooler outside.

First thing I'd do is work on my reaction time, then work on the tuning.

not bad, definatly fix and tune your car more and you'll be in the 14's no problem.

I think he did a very good job, it was his very first time ever at the track, he had a bad reaction time, but as you can see, his stock ZC was catching up to my B18A1. I think part of the reason is his intake cam is advanced a whole tooth, the engine was like that when he got it

Drag races are won or lost at the line. Have a good reaction time, and you will come out on top. Other than that, everything looks good, with a little more tunning, you should be running low 15's.

Here is my best time slip so far. I ran this last Saturday (the 28th) with 90 degree weather, an ocational shower, and with that bullshit "tarmac" crap that the track officals put down at the line for the big drag cars.

reaction time is very important ... I beat my friends 03 corolla because I had a better reaction time than he did.

actually reaction time has nothing to do with your et. time dont start till you pass the sensor whether it was .400 or 2.2 seconds later it wont start till you pass it. i think thats pretty good for b18, 14's would be hard to get to with just tunning. add alot of bolt ons get some good street slicks and high 14's will be there

Wrong the time does start as soon as the light turns and then the sensor measures your reaction time, form the light turning to your car moving. So the reaction time is very important.
