Car cranks but doesnt start

Hello, I have a 1996 Dodge Stratus 2.4 and about a week after returning home from work I had to go out and my car did not start, but it worked earlier that day. Now I have changed the camshaft position sensor and it still doesn't start. Now I am not at all car smart and several people have told me different things to do to try to get it started. But don't know where to start. Please help me. Thank you.

Re: Car cranks but doesnt start

Have someone beat on the gas tank from underneath while your trying to start it- chances are good your fuel pump is wearing out and is stuck off center of brushes- whaping the gas tank disturbs the pump and it may start pumping.

Other than that, get a fuel pressure gauge on it...
