Does this cai look like it would fit in my 90 lx? or would the battery be in the way?

LX had DPFI so the air chamber is a bit higher I think but I think you could make it fit fine. And 88-91 is easy to spot because it has like a wave to it to go around the battery. My intake is 92-95 Civic and it just goes straight through where the battery would be...

However don't expect to chirp 3rd gear with your DPFI, getting an intake for it won't really do much.

hahaha....i have an automatic..and sometimes when its hot outside, my tires will actually chirp going from 2nd to 3rd.
but yea im not expecting anything, just really doing it for looks and sounds.

Yeah I like the sound CAIs make. Mine makes a whistle and sucking sound that sounds like a Supercharger.

My CAI doesn't really make any sound
 and yeah..that looks like a good AEM knockoff!!  Here is my CAI on a DPFI, and it is close to the battery, but does get by it...and I would also recommend a bypass valve..it goes in place of one of the blue joints in that pic...I have moved mine from this pic up to the throttle body, cuz things lined up better that way for me.

you should be able to find one of those on e-bay too...they vary in price...make sure you get one the same size as the intake tube, which if I remember is 2.5" - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=42604
