BMW M3 DTM, Beemax, 1/24

Hi

I finished my next kit - as I liked building the Beemax MP4/2 I took their M3 kit from the shelf, which builds up to the 1991 DTM car.

It does not have the same amount of details - you can remove the bonnet, but you will only find an empty space below - but it builds into a nice curbside. The Bodywork can be removed anytime very easily after opening the bonnet. The decals work nicely, the golden areas are metal decals on a little extra sheet where you lay the rest of the logo on top. As with the McLaren I recommend giving all edges of the plastic a light Micromesh sanding.

Painted with TS26 and 29 per airbrush, Mr Superclear Gloss on Top. I added belts and fasteners.

Hope you like it.

Re: BMW M3 DTM, Beemax, 1/24

By the way, I am about to start mine, where is a good source for reference photos? I noticed some of the cars have black grill in the front, some are red, I just don't know which one to choose. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
