Audi R8 LB Works

I just completed the LB R8. I made my own bodykit using a set of Fujimi overfenders I had laying around. It was a lot of work but it was worth it.

I painted the car with Vallejo Air Anthracite grey. Clearcoat is Zero 2K. I had a lot of orangepeel, so after sanding the clear I added a new layer and polished it when it was dry. The shine is very nice now.

It was a great project. I had my thoughts in the beginning. But in the end it turned out great in my opinion. I like the wide look of it now, while a stock R8 is also a wide car already.

Here's a short list of modifications I did:

- Custom bodykit
- Custom rearspoiler
- Scale Production GT3 rear window
- Aoshima 19'' SSR wheels
- Fujimi Brembo brakediscs
- Crazy Modeler carbon decals
- Scale Production interiorflocking
- Scale Production Recaro seats

Kris.

Nice work. Clear coat looks a bit thick but the end result is nice and shiny. I like that color on the R8. Very cool.
