I have a 2013 Equinox 2.4 , there is a sub in the back but I cannot control it, what is it for and second what size are the door speakers .

If your Equinox is equipped with RPO code UW6 (6-speaker audio system) the subwoofer is only used as an active noise cancellation device to reduce audible powertrain/drivetrain noise in the cabin. It is not used with the radio at all. This is applicable to all 2010-2015 Equinox & Terrain w/2.4L engine according to TSB PIT4915D.

The door speakers are 6.75" round. You will need these adapters to install new speakers.

The RPO sticker is located on the inner side of the glove box door.

You're looking for a sticker that looks like this.



Each of the alphanumeric, three character codes represents an option or equipment that was installed at the factory. You are looking for UW6.

Why do you need to post a picture of it? I would advise against this because your VIN is also printed on the sticker. As I said in my previous post, you are looking for UW6. It either is or is not listed on your sticker. If it's not then your vehicle doesn't have that option.

It's not rocket science.
