McLaren 570s

Just completed Revell's new Mc Laren 570S. Lovely kit except for the wheels (as always...). I replaced them with SSR Professor VF1 wheels from Aoshima. All paint on the body is Zero Paints. Jet Black and Grigio Metallizzatto from Alfa Romeo, and 2K Clear.

A lot of pics I know, can't help it.... I just love this model . Revell did a really good job on this one, that's for sure. When you replace the original wheels for some aftermarket wheels or the new Plamoz wheels this can be a really nice model. Everything fitts perfect, but be carefull with the body on chassis mounting. This needs some thinking and time to do it correct. There's just one way to get this done without damaging the body!

Here's a short list of extra's I did:

- 20'' SSR Professor VF1 wheels (aoshima)
- anthracite interiorflocking
- lowered

Kris.

Re: McLaren 570s

Looks good! Nice color combo and finish.

I see that most people are painting the rear lights clear red (and the instructions probably say so), but at rest, the lights are smoke gray.

Excellent colour choice, such a cool grey metallic enhances the spectacular lines of this car more than any flamboyant colour.

Re: McLaren 570s

I like this build. The exterior colors reminded me of Tom Ruijter's build I watched on YouTube. Your interior stands out more and your wheel choice appeals to my style a bit more. Really good work and a nice end result.
