2017 NSX Type R

Using the Tamiya kit as a base, I made a few tweaks to make a 'Type R'.

The color is Tamiya chrome yellow base coats with a mix of yellow/gold pearl powder blended with clear for a mid coat. All was top coated with U-pol clear. The roof and tail light panel were masked off and painted gloss black. Crazy Modeler red Honda badges and metal transfers were added along with Type R decals.

Seats are from parts box painted with yellow accents as was the gauge binnacle cover.

The wheels are by Hobby Design, tires are Aoshima.

I grafted some heat extracting vents into the deck lid. I'm waiting on Acu Stion's spoiler to come in which will actually complete the build.

Looks very good. Nice color and great paint job! Just one note - the wheel spokes should be twisted in the same direction on each side of the car. Thus, I recommend you to swap the front wheels...

... or the rear wheels.
