Group Build (well, sort of...): 3x Peugeot 205 Turbo 16

I basically failed in 2016's Group Build, as I built 3 race variants of the same car, but no road version.
Nevertheless, I wanted to share some pictures of those and wish everybody a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

from left to right:

1986 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evo2 -
Tour de Corse - #5 B.Saby (Tamiya, 40% stock with full Evo2 conversion)
front and rear wings are based on Heller T16 Evo2, wheels from Reji, engine and brake parts from Tamiya 405 T16GR, decals are a mix of Heller and Tamiya, custom windows with air scoops from 405 T16;
the rear wheel arches, most of engine bay including the radiators, the rear section of the roll cage and the rear suspension as well as rear diffusor and the underbody aerodynamics were scratch built.

1985 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 - Rallye Monte Carlo - #2 A.Vatanen (Tamiya, 90% stock)
lamp pod from Renaissance, mudflaps from Tamiya 405 T16GR, some minor scratch-building

1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 - Tour de Corse - #4 A.Vatanen
(Tamiya, 80% stock)
custom front skirt, altered paint scheme including home-made decals, modified wheels;
I also added yellow bulbs to the headlamps of all 3 cars, as well as radio antennas from MFH

Superb group !
As a Peugeot / Vatanen fan I can only appreciate your models, you did a great job !
I wish you for 2017... maybe a Profil24 Evo2 (??) for a super detailed opened model !!
Don't hesitate to go on building 205 T16 I'm just following

Thank you.

I dont't think I will go for Profil24, but 2017 will probably see a Pike's Peak build, which basically includes another Evo2 conversion in the process...

And there's stilly my B.Darniche / Team Gauloises build waiting to be completed.

maybe you can consider the Belga Team livery, it's a basic evo 1 !
I love your work on the 205T16s so it's never enough

Re: Group Build (well, sort of...): 3x Peugeot 205 Turbo 16

I'm happy you guys like it. To be honest, the build quality is by no means "impressive", as I consider myself still being a beginner. And luckily, the pictures in 800x600 don't fully show all the shortcomings of my builds. But I do think all of them have "flair" and I am quite satisfied with how the mods turned out.

@ Reji, nice to see you here, I used your wheels on the Evo2 and I like the result!
Are those rims supposed to be 17 or 18 inches? I actually do find them a bit large.
