The 2ZZ has been put in the Spyder - visit www.spyderchat.com and do a few searches on the 2ZZ. LOTS of information on it, and people there have done it. The question has been asked to death and answered to death - your answers are already on the board. Search and you shall find.

well why do you want to swap in a celica gts engine in it? if you're looking for power i would put the 3S-GTE in instead

because NA would keep the mr-s balance. w/ all the extra weight of piping of the turbo etc you'll be upsetting a major part of what makes the car waht it is....but hey, if you want some fast 1/4mi times then go for it....but then if that were the case, why don't you start out w/ a fast car?

btw, the 2zz swap should be pretty much cake if you know what you're doing....it shouldn't cost more than $4k
