X-Box! I could not get one myself but I am on the waiting list at Funcoland but probably wait until the demand goes down and get one from Best buy.

I work at Amazon.com, so I got the 'inside scoop'! I'll probably end up getting it and selling it, though. Because I really intended on getting the GameCube, but pushed the wrong button. I already have my PS2, so I really don't need another system that plays DVD's. Who knows, I might just keep it.

I'm a PS fan, I plan on picking up a PS2 sometime after the holidays. Just havent gotten around to it. Therefore, I wont be getting the X-Box.

Me too. I played it, it was fun, I'd rather have the PS2.

HAHAHAHA!!!! But that would be only fair!! I voted for "couldn't care less" as well. I've got my PS2, and I want to get a GC and DC by the end of winter. Don't forget, the games make the system (DC is a dead-end but it's dirt cheap and has a ton of games, with more on the way).

Ok but I got my X-Box yesterday and also have a DC and N64 and respect your OP but I did not buy the PS2 because it seems the X-Box is better equipped than the PS2 for current and future gaming but thats all apples and oranges, PS2 or X-Box, they're both Great systems!

Regarding future online gaming:

Xbox - It comes prepared with a broadband modem as well as storage capability (hard drive).

PS2 - Gotta buy the modem & HD, but modem can run on narrow-bands (dial-up, not everyone can afford high-speed) as well as broadband and may have a larger HD.

Pretty even if you ask me. It's going to be the old Nintendo vs. Sega battle all over again, for the next generation.
