1977 AMC Pacer Wagon

Even though this kit was just reissued, this is a vintage kit that I bought about 25 years ago for $8. The reissue helped spur me to build this model. I had a lot of fun personalizing it; making the decals for the seats and wood trim that I added. At the last minute when adding the antenna I realized it needed a yellow happy face antenna ball, and since I was working at my friend's house he had a box of pins at his desk w/the perfect size ball ends to make this detail. I started this back in early August.

This is about as realistic as it gets. I wasn't expecting such a beautiful and clean build. About the best wood grain I have ever seen on a model.
