Re: just quit

That's definitely not enough information. Need background. What were you doing at the time? Driving? Or it didn't start next time?

The type of info you provided is equivalent to: There was this Asian man who was 73 & he just died. How was he killed?

Do you get me?

Re: just quit

Yes I get you. I have come to the conclusion it is the timing belt.
My motor is NON INTERFERENCE so hopefully the pistons were not effected.
I was driving a short distant, went into the store for fifteen minuets came out car started fine drove three mins turned the corner and it just quit no noise no clunk. When I tried to start it again it would not turn over mu husband thought it may be the fluke pump but we check for that.

Re: just quit

Ahhh.... yes, that's a possibility, that the timing belt snapped. Everything else still powers up then, such as lights, radio, wipers, etc? Just won't turn over? If no power to anything, then that wouldn't be the case. It sounds like the hubby may have it covered, as far as removing the timing belt cover and being able to do the work....
