1979 Pinto Cruising Wagon
Reissue of the MPC 1979 annual kit. I added an antenna and some clear headlight lenses taken from the parts box (kit units are chrome plated and poorly engraved).
This was just a fun exercise for a decent shelf model; lots of minor accuracy issues w/these old kits that I didn't feel needed to be re-engineered. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: 1979 Pinto Cruising Wagon
Really looks great! My first car was a '77 Pinto Cruisin' Wagon with a 2.8L V6. I have an MPC kit to scale it but haven't started yet. Hopefully I can get it looking as good as yours!

Re: 1979 Pinto Cruising Wagon
Probably not most people's all-time favourite 1:1 car, but from the modeler's point of view: PERFECT and excellent photography as well!
