'59 Cadillac Eldorado Seville

This is my new project. The coolest Cadillac from Monogram.

A nice kit and very big! For the color i'm thinking about Messing Metallic from BMW.

I don't like the stock wheels, so I picked up a nice set from Kranze.

Re: '59 Cadillac Eldorado Seville

Long time ago, but I managed to primer the body. First I sanded the textured roof cause I want a smooth roof.

Then it was to primer the body.

Re: '59 Cadillac Eldorado Seville

Got this one painted. I also added the chrome trims with BMF and the decals the kit suplied.

And after clearcoat and some polishing it looks like this:

And I removed the chrome from the wheels and painted them Porsche Slate Grey.

Re: '59 Cadillac Eldorado Seville

Interior is done. I kept it simple with a 2 tone colorsheme and BMF for the chrome trims.

Re: '59 Cadillac Eldorado Seville

I completed the stock engine. I added sparkplug wires for a bit more detail.

And completed the body. But dissaster happend..... I broke the frontwindow.. Making a new one is very hard due the complex shape, so I added a BMF trim to cover the crack.

Bummer about the windshield, but I guess it's good it was broken right down the middle? Did you clear over the BMF? It looks great! I may steal that idea!
