Front Driver Side Damage
My son was driving his 99 GMC Jimmy today in bad weather and had an accident. The driver side front is badly mangled, shown in the pic. Before I go to a body shop, I wanted to see if any of you think the repairs to make the car just look reasonable will outweigh the car's value, estimated at $1800. If I can get a hood, side panel pieces and the headlight assembly from a local yard, can a body shop bend the front support back into a somewhat straight position? How difficult will it be to remove the mangled side panel and inside wheel cover?
