On my maxima, I can easily pull codes off the ecu, look up the problem and reset the ecu with only a screwdriver.
Anyone know what tools I'd need and how to do this on my wife's 97 tercel? I've searched high and low, but couldn't find anything. TIA! |

Thanks for the Tercel GTS. I actually found that by searching the forum. I wasn't trying to by the obd. I should have. It cost me $70 just have the mech. look at it! I could justify buying one with 2 visits to that guy!
I reset the cel by disconnecting the battery. It came back on two days later. When the looked at it they discovered a problem with a vacuum seal. Fixed that and now everything is running smooth. Thanks again though. |
