these parts necessary with a swap?

i was talking to some guy from importedcarparts, which sells wholesale oem parts. i was calling to get a water pump/seal and timing belt for a engine im getting, and he told me i also need(or should get) a whole bunch of other things:

timing belt tensioner
cam & crankshaft seals
balance shaft belt
balance shaft tensioner
balance shaft seal

are all those things really necessary? when i talked to the guy at the shop who's doing the swap, he just told me the pump and timing belt.

well ive never heard of having to change those parts while doing a swap usually just water pump, timing belt, cap, rotor, and plugs/wires.

but it cant hurt to swap em out for some new ones.

yea true. i went ahead and got them all, and only for a little over $200. a great deal since the honda dealer said $120 for the water pump alone. i called the shop guy again and asked him about all that stuff. and none of it NEEDS to be replaced, but its those things that may as well be, like the clutch, cause its alot easier and cheaper to do it while the motor is out.

Its recommended you replace as much as possible - I mean think about it, youve got the motor and tranny out of the vehicle. It makes it 1,000 times easier to replace those parts so you might as well do it.

I mean how many people order a swap, throw it in their car... then 1,000 miles later their clutch goes out cause they never bothered to replace it? Better to be on the safe side
