how to replace floor bolt 4 jack stand attachments.

2005 Silverado, single cab, V6 version.
Minor problem. Sorry don't know correct names for things. The rods that connect to the jack stand come in a *leather* sheaf that when stored is held down by a metal clip that screws into a bolt coming out of the floor. That bolt broke off enough that it can't be used anymore. The question is:
Can it be replaced.
If so, can someone say how, or point to a source that would be helpful?
Thanks
Serverian

Re: how to replace floor bolt 4 jack stand attachments.

I never used that bolt down for the jack . I have a cardboard box with the jack and a ratchet and socket and a cheater bar. I also have some hazmat pads to keep the metal from rattling.. cloth rags would be good and then you can use them to wipe off your hands .. gloves in the box also. scrap yard should help you with this cheap repair .

Can you try a pair of vice grips on what is left of the bolt and install a new bolt.
