Is there an easy way to put on the A/C compressor belt?

1995 Toyota Tercel. I opened the hood today to fill up the windshield washer fluid. Noticed the belt for the A/C compressor was missing. Looking at it closer, the compressor was just laying there, being held up by the rear section of the front bumper. Apparently the two bolts that mount the compressor to the engine block had vibrated out. That's the only thing I can think off as to why they were gone. I don't ever remember hearing any strange noises when all this happened. Anyway, I went and bought a new belt and am unable to get it on. I'm by myself and have no one to help me. There appears to be no tension pulley that I can crank down on to give me some slack. Is there any way possible for me to get this belt on by myself? It doesn't have power steering, so it's just the alternator and compressor belts. Thanks for any help!

if it runs just the ac pump then either the bolts that hold it to bracket are slotted and allow it to loosen it to install belt or there is a idler pulley the belt goes over that needs to be loosened, belt installed and then retightened

There is an idler pulley at the top. I'll have to check it out in the morning. Thanks! Strange thing is, I have the actual Toyota repair manual for it, and it has nothing. It talks about removing the belts but doesn't say how and what you need to loosen up.

And done. Geez, once you can find the actual adjustment piece, it's pretty easy after that. I wasted hours on it yesterday. Took me about 15 minutes to get it done today.
