2011 Malibu key fob programing

Can a 2011 Malibu key fob be program by car owner. If so doe's anyone have the procedure?

No....any GM dealer(does not have to be Chevrolet, so call around for a price), or a locksmith can program it.....

As Tech2 said it has to be done at a GM dealer or by a locksmith with the proper software. Any reputable locksmith would have that.

Some dealers might not charge anything to program it. Some might charge $50.

Just be aware that if you bought a FOB to be a 2nd one you need to bring the original with you as they will both have to be programmed together. If you don't bring the 1st one then it will no longer work once the 2nd is programmed.
