You can get GTR's here for $14,000 pretty easy...its just they will be stuffed, ie. turbo's blown, alternater gone and something else...thats the only way, also the cars body will be filled with bog and repaired pretty shitty, might still have panel damage,
Its also properly uncomplianced...as its an 89' compliance cost $7500!!!eekk! $20,000 will get u a gtr with straight panels and mechanically ok, CYaz |

I totally agree with what Dan has said, but ther are exceptions, for example.
I have seen all the relevant documentation (auction cost, shipping etc) for a R33 GTR a friends Dad bought into Aus. It had full Recaro interior with a 6-point roll cage. Huge twin TRUST Turbo kit (I cant remember the numbers but does twin T-66's sound feasable?) and the whole intercooler/multiplate clutch/HUGE slotted aftermarket brakes all round/suspension/exhaust with screamer pipe setup. Basically this car looked schmick, but in my mind was very likely a road registered circuit racer whilst in Japan. The total cost landed in Perth was $18,000 AUD Uncomplied !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The reason why it was cheap was that the owner had fallen behind in payments and it was reclaimed. I still don't see this as an excuse for it to be sold on at auction for what is obviously and pittance, but it happened. I only hope I'll be as lucky when I can afford my next skyline. P.S. the car still isnt complied and I havent heard what is happening to it. |

Dan, $20,000 for a GTR!?!?!? No way would it be decent.
It's probably an old one been hit hard and they just want to get rid of it. If you tell me where I can buy a clean reasonable km r32 gtr for $20,000 I will buy 2 and sell them for $30k each. |

I think Dan is talking about a private import.

I agree with gtrfan, if GTR's were that cheap, i wouldn't have bought the r33.....
The cheapest r32 gtr i have seen (with accident damage not repaired) was roughly $20,000 in AUS without repairs or compliance. maybe it is a gtr lookalike.... 13k sounds right for that.
