Si Ecu
so i was wondering if an ecu from an 88 crx si will work in my car, if so what can i expect to happen? Any noticeable changes?

You have DPI. the si ecu wont work at all, unless you convert to MPFI.

it plugs right up, yes, but the Si ecu is looking for 4 injectors, 2 of which it will not find, as well as the two it does find are of different impedence. The DX ECU will not run an MPFI setup, so it would make sense that the Si ECU wouldn't run DPI.

MPFI = 4 injectors with a programmed fuel flow directed by the ecu. go to www.4thGenerationCivic.com and go to the "how-to" section. from there click the "performance" section. you will find all the DPFI to MPFI conversion info
