rear motor mount?

i believe i have 3 motor mounts on my car. i notice when i shift to reverse my car shakes alot now and the idle is fine. i look at the engine as i shift gears in my automatic and the engine shifts alot...and when i revv the engine in park. the other engine mounts look fine i think...help me out.

i also would like to know how hard is it to replace that rear motor mount. seems pretty cramp...do i have to remove the engine?

#4...donno what #3 is i dont see it in my car

The engine should move some when you change gears. Try moving the engine with your own force. If its easy, most likely means a mount is bad - if its hard then your all good.

the rear mount is actually a trans mount but either way I would not replace that bushing for $500 with the motor in.

thanks bro.

well here is what i found out.

the front engine mount is bad. the rear one is a 2 stage electronically controlled mount that reacts with acceleration. that one is blown..dont know of the second stage is blown. the drivers side is goign to go soon...and the passenger side is fine.

i bought the front and the side mounts..but that rear one is 250 bucks. i am going to replace it. just have to have the strenth to.
