1999 Breeze replaced starter & No start
Hi. Upon trying initial start after starter replacement, heard an arc or pop sound from under hood near fuse/relay area and no start and nothing when ignition is turned. No dashlights or sound but dome light works. Thinking relays or possibly the plug wire to starter but cleaned it. ??? Need to be back in it last nite! ANY suggestions Please & Thx.

Re: 1999 Breeze replaced starter & No start
Obvious question would be "was the starter hooked back up correctly?"

Sounds to me like the signal wire is grounding if it is only popping when you try to start.
