CD in my sound system refused to eject. I pulled the radio and fished out the CD. The mech still didn't release. The radio now plays and the aux input works. Since I have an IPod is it worth getting it fixed or replacing it at the local junk yard?. Still have to program it for the BCM?

Re: Impala 2012 stuck CD mechanism.
You can get an estimate from radio repair shops....
If you get one from the junkyard, it will have to be programmed by a dealership, or it won't be recognized by other modules in the vehicle and won't play.... Your other option would be to replace it, with an aftermarket radio...... |
