Finished Revell Civic Si

Honestly this kit wasn't fun. Not sure what it is, but honestly I put half effort into it (panel lines not done, polish in the cracks, window trim hand-painted). I'll probably come back to this kit and clean it up in the future, but for now this is what I've got. Anyway enjoy

Engine pics?

For a half-assed job, it's pretty good.

Those are the stock Si wheels, but I don't think they're supposed to be in chrome; nonetheless because I made my body color silver I didn't want to make the wheels also silver.

Overall fit of the kit is expected from a newer Revell kit. A lot of it is derived from the ITR kit. Beware of the front and rear bumpers, as they can be a bit too wide for the body, so some rubber bands will be helpful to keep them aligned while the glue sets.

One unique thing about this kit is that the body screws onto the chassis, so to a point you can adjust the ride height by the screws. One flaw I noticed on mine, though, is that the wheels on the right side of the car were a bit too inwards like a bad offset. Should be fixable though.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

That looks great! I could understand why that was fun.

Not putting all that work into it building a dam body kit prime sand re-prime.

Just relaxing building the way it's supposed to be.

Or not.
