MFH Colombo Ferrari V12

I'm not doing a WIP for this build but couldn't resist posting some pictures of the completed 1/24th engine.

Excellent work. MFH sets the standard for detail. I just wish they weren't sooo expensive.

Re: MFH Colombo Ferrari V12

Very nice! Is the wrinkle finish cast into the valve covers or did you add that? If so, how did you get the wrinkle black finish?

Re: MFH Colombo Ferrari V12

Hi, The cam covers are cast with a shot blast surface and I just cleaned them up, etch primed them and then used a matt black aerosol instead of my airbrush to finish.

Cheers.
