Pressure Valves?

What are those 2 blue caps on the left side of the engine? One has L on top of it the other H. Are they some sort of pressure valves or something? When I turned one of them, it sounded like a little bit of air came out.

I dont know jack about G20's but I think that the "pressure valves" that you are refering to have to do with the air-conditioning, more specifically the refrigerant. (if your car has a/c, if not, im clueless)

I suggest not opening the valves unless ur a qualified mechanic, or have the proper kit for recharging the a/c system.

Like I said before, if you do not have a/c, then you can disregard this.

I did the same thing. sounded like some air coming out. I just tightened it up until it stopped coming out. I didn't notice anything different about the a/c though.

As long as you close it up right away, you wont lose too much refrigerant and you should be ok anyways.. If you have it open too long, the a/c will end up not working well, and you would have to get a recharge.

since your ride is relitivly new, it probably uses the newer refrigerant, meaning it shouldnt be that bad. Ive seen shops that offer deals on recharges, but im just taking a shot in the dark here when i say $100 - $175 (thats what Ive seen them go for here, remember thats cdn $$'s too)

There are alot of variables that can make the cost go up in a hurry tho, like leaky a/c lines or other stuff,so dont quote me on the price, plus they charge a small amount for disposal of whats left of the old stuff, cause its bad for the ozone or something to just release it all.

I know what cap you are talking about had to remove the one behind the right headlight. I also took it off to get more space for my rachet to fit when I took my headlights out. P11 sorry forgot to mention. Anyways, I also heard pressure release but just a tiny bit. Looking into it after removing the cap. It seems like pressure won't be lost within your A/C system unless you press on the needle that sticks up right in the middle. Kind of like a tire stem piece.
