Car not starting need help!!

Hello I own a 2004 pt cruiser. Recently my car just died without any warning. I've changed my spark plugs checked my fuel pump to make sure I am getting gas and that is fine. On the night it broke down I was driving down a busy highway with my cruise control on when it just dropped in rpms and my check engine light came on. I've checked everything possible . it tries to start it is turning over but I get nothing my interior lights don't come on anymore either . anybody have any help?? If needed I can post a video of the sound it is making to help possibly !
