90 2.2l fuel injector

im having issues with performance all over really. while the engine is cold the idle is ok but will miss and rev up and down a little. while driving it feels like theres a very slight miss. changed the map and a tune up and cleaned iac with no change. rebuilt the tbi with no change. i did notice the injector is spraying ok but while running i do see it dripping in the center of the injector. is there anyway to rebuild it?

No, you replace the injector.......could also be a PCM/ECM....

Re: 90 2.2l fuel injector

Those injectors go bad every so often (I used to get about 80K miles out of them). I would just replace with a Standard Ignition injector. They were 80 bucks last time I replaced one about 15 years ago. They would give me the same symptoms you're experiencing when they were going bad. I use Lucas fuel treatment (3 oz per 10 gal gas) and that seems to help.
