Question How rare are 4-door manuals/stick shift Cavaliers?

I am curious what percentage of the cavaliers produced are manuals - what percentage of the coupes and what percentage of the 4-doors.

Does anyone know?

Re: How rare are 4-door manuals/stick shift Cavaliers?

I have a 2002 base with the 4 door 5 speed. I bought it new, and there was one more (I got the red one and there was a white one) with the manual trans. All the others (about a dozen) were automatics with a couple LS in addition. I bought it at C&O Motors in St. Albans, WV for 10,800 fwiw.

The only thing I'm not crazy about with the car is no CC...other than that - even the manual windows - I love the car.

Yes, mine doesn't have CC either. I find myself just getting behind traffic and staying with it.

Re: How rare are 4-door manuals/stick shift Cavaliers?

It seems like more 4 door Cavaliers were automatic, but I don't think the margin is huge. The 2 doors I'm thinking are 50/50. I once had a '94 cavalier with an automatic that I didn't really like. It was only a 3 speed with overdrive. It just seemed like the engine had more to give than the transmission would allow it to put down.
